When you need to upgrade or customize your Mercedes the way you like, there are tons of options available including complete body kits and individual parts. Some of these aftermarket parts are designed to improve the appearance of a car, such as grills. Mercedes grills are available in a variety of impressive designs.
Grills are an important part of any vehicle as they allow for a constant flow of air to the engine. Now you know how important these grills are for the safety of your car engine. Many people change the grills of their car as a long-term maintenance step. The performance of the vehicle is improved and one can enjoy a pleasurable as well as a safe ride.

Mercedes grills are available as direct replacement parts such that you don’t need the assistance or help of a mechanic to install them. They come in simple and elegant as well as classy and modern designs. They are designed by high-end manufacturers to meet the needs of today’s customers. People who enjoy driving a Mercedes know how important it is to keep it upgraded and in a condition that truly represents luxury and style. If you have an older model of Mercedes, you can convert it into an impressive looking vehicle simply by installing these grills.

Some of the grills come with OEM Mercedes Benz star which looks attractive and intimidating. You can check out various bumper grills in the price range of $70 to $200 and more depending on their material and overall design. Silver grills with chrome accents look beautiful. Some of these grills are made up of ABS plastic which makes them light weight and durable. Grills for S Class models are a bit more expensive as they are made of carbon fiber and other high quality materials. You can strengthen up the look of your car by installing these amazing grills.

Mercedes grills come in two styles: custom-fit grills and mesh grills. Mesh grills are made up of aluminum which resists corrosion and sometimes steel. They are also more expensive than custom grills. They are designed to fit right in front of the factory installed opening veins. Other than these types, some people also go for billet car grills which are meant for sports cars. These grills provide protection against dirt and wreckage. Steel grills are strong and can be used to guard the front of your car in case of an accident or a mishap. Custom car grills come handy when you are looking for specially designed parts for your specific Mercedes model.

The grille is one of the most visible parts of a car. It is right there in the front of your car. Irrespective of whether the car has a front engine or rear engine the grill is there in the front. Its location, therefore, significantly contributes to the overall look of the car. If the existing grill of your car does not appeal to you, or even if you are satisfied with it but want to further enhance the look of your car, you can go in for a billet grille.

Since the grille is fitted in the front it is necessary that it is made of a tough material. The materials mostly used are aluminum, or stainless steel, or even some times ABS plastic. Despite being light aluminum is strong, and it resists corrosion. It can be easily molded in any shape that you like. Stainless steel is very strong, it resists corrosion, and is rust free. ABS plastic grills are less expensive. Though these may not be as strong as aluminum or stainless steel grills these are durable and rust free.

There are bolt over billet grilles which can be fitted over your existing grills. They require very little time to install. Some bolts, brackets, and clamps are used in fitting them. Then there are replacement billet grilles, which are installed after completely removing the existing grill. It is not difficult to remove the existing grill because these are mostly clamped by plastic brackets. You have simply to cut through these brackets.

There are various types of billet grills like Putco, Stull, DJ Motor Sports, Precision etc.. These can also be fitted in trucks and SUVs. In the market there are various designs of grilles. It will be easy for you to select grilles of your choice. They fit your vehicle like the original grille. All of them are durable. You can give your car the desired look by installing billet grills. You can get more information on billet grilles at www.ilovebodykits.com.

Once you have installed a great billet grille wherever you take your vehicle it will be appreciated. If you are also considering car body kits you can match your billet grille to the body kit of your choice.

Barbequing outdoors is a pleasure that anyone can partake in and with so many types of grills available you can practically cook anywhere. One exception to the list is a natural gas grill which needs a permanent hook up. Listed below are some of the main advantages / disadvantages and suggestions for both natural gas and charcoal grills to help decide which one is best for you.

Charcoal Grilling and Benefits

The backyard chef’s favorite challenge is to create the perfect fire for grilling to produce that mouthwatering smoky taste! Most popular and with about 80% of all American households owning one, is the barbeque grill. Approximately 47% of these bbq owners are cooking with good old charcoal. With brands such as Weber, clearly the most popular charcoal grill sold, as well as a household name, one might dismiss other quality charcoal grillers. But brands such as Brinkman and Hibachi are sought-after as are lesser known charcoal grillers Arctic, Meco, Aussie, Texas Pit Masters, Uniflame, Capital and Thermos, Fire Magic and others.

If you are looking to find the right barbeque charcoal grill, you are in luck. Why? Charcoal grills can add an extra smoky flavor to your grilling that gas grills can’t! And, these grills are affordable to suit any budget. That said, if you buy a fancy one with deluxe features, the price tag will be higher. However, compared to an outdoor gas grill featuring mechanical parts and a more complicated design, charcoal grillers are just more economical.

Which charcoal barbeque to buy?

Begin with a few simple questions. How many people will you be grilling for? Does the bbq need to be a specific grill type such as: portable, stainless steel or cast iron? Are you looking for a particular brand: Weber charcoal grills, Brinkman charcoal grills, Hibachi, Arctic, Patio Life, Meco, Aussie or something else

With a charcoal grill, if you are going to be cooking for a lot of people or just a few people, size matters. A small charcoal grill is 300 to 500 sq. in. cooking surface; a medium charcoal grill is 500 to 700 sq. in. cooking surface; and a large grill is 700 sq. in. and up. So make sure you are getting the size you that fits your needs. If you need something portable, take a look at the brands Weber and Arctic. You will find these to be lightweight and easy to carry. A lock-lid is a convenient portable barbeques feature for camping and outdoor picnicking. see: http://www.outdoor-fireplaces-and-patio-heaters.com/charcoal-grills.htm

Natural gas grilling and benefits

How many times have you wanted to barbeque on a Saturday night but were out of propane gas? With a natural gas grill you will never have to worry about the grilling disaster because you’ll never run out of propane while grilling steaks for friends. If you’re in the market shopping for a barbeque that will offer you great convenience and ease, then natural gas is the way to go. Why? Unlike charcoal grills, there is no waiting for the coals to heat up. With a natural gas grill you just push the button, turn the dial and ignite! And, since these barbeques are connected to the gas supply piping of the home, they are always ready for cooking.

How to choose the natural gas grill that’s right for you

It’s never easy deciding, especially when there are so many outdoor grill manufacturers to choose from: Weber, Broilmaster, Lynx, Fire Magic and many more. And besides the brands, you’ve got to figure out which brand model will suit your grilling needs. Here are some grill features to consider: What size cooking surface do you need? Does the barbeque need side shelves? Do you want a multi-burner system, meaning 2, 4, or 6 burners? Do you want warming shelves, a side burner, a grease catcher? And what about the grill’s appearance? Does it need need to fit into an outdoor kitchen? Or to match the décor of the exterior of your house?

Two great ways to decide are your particular budget and reviews. Read as many gas grill reviews as possible, talk to friends with natural gas grillers, and shop around locally and online. Whatever your needs and whatever you decide, adding a barbeque to your life, be it natural gas or charcoal, will never be something you regret. see: http://www.outdoor-fireplaces-and-patio-heaters.com/outdoor-gas-grills.htm

In today’s market you have many grill choices to choose from, some grills are sophisticated high tech, use charcoal or use natural gas grills and call these grills have the equivalent power of kitchen oven or stovetop. All grills come in many different sizes, metals and shapes and they have many different features these features depends on the manufacture. Of course the primary purpose of the gas grill is for outdoor cooking, which would normally be meat or poultry and some people cook vegetables. The dimensions and weight of the barbecue grill need to be taken into account because you need the ability to adjust the grill when needed, plus you should check to see what type of cooking features the grill has.

Natural gas grills are all the craze in outdoor cooking, and it isn’t surprising why. When looking for the best grill for yourself make sure you shop around and all the stores and online to find the best price and the best quality grill, there are many out there so do your research. If you like hamburgers, steaks or hotdogs on the grill then an outdoor grill is perfect item to purchase.

There are many debates about the which is better charcoal or grill, many like the taste of the charcoal grill because it gives the food a distinct taste while the gas grill is clean burning and does not add additional taste to the food. During the winter months all you can think about is cooking on the grill and eating a great big juicy steak and having fun with all your friends while everyone congregates around the barbeque grill. The gas grill is ideal for cooks with little or no experience with outdoor cooking.

A gas grill can be quite easy to maintain and the grill will make many occasions fun and festive. By cooking meats, fish and many other foods on the grill this leads many peoples spirits to be raised just because they are cooking on grill. Many times the entire party revolves around grill cooking, get a grill that is reliable and each time you use it you will not be sorry.

Many barbecue purists argue that charcoal gives the food a better taste than the gas grills. There have been many tests conducted during the life of the barbecue, which is better the charcoal

When choosing a grill the type of features and the styles are up to you style of taste, but when choosing the grill make sure it is the correct size and the right shape, because where you place the grill is very important because of the smoke that it lets off. When shopping for a grill you need to look at certain criteria like the right BTU and the correct size and style, you will need to make sure that the grill fits your needs, this can be challenging. There are many features that vary like the number of burners, the amount of space needed for cooking the size of the grill, the other thing to look for is the materials used to build the grill.

Cheap Gas Grills

Every American wants to have a wonderful weekend in the backyard of his garden, and doing outdoor cooking. Nowadays grilling is enjoyed by most of the people together with their families. People indulge in weekend grilling as it prepares sumptuous food with smoky flavors and mouthwatering taste. The grilling offer opportunities to prepare endless varieties from Mexican Dish like carne asada to Indian hot favorite tandoori chicken and many more. All enjoys the outdoor cooking like grilling as everything tastes superb and the aromas are simply pleasing and alluring to the taste buds.

The grills have gained popularity and got a permanent place in every American kitchen and eventually gave way to the manufacturers to test and try different methods and technologies which will be beneficial to the customers to use the grill effectively and with ease. A best gas grill will help you to get the best taste of the food you prepare in a grill but if the grill is not of a good quality it will hamper the taste of the food and you will be devoid of the delightful and succulent taste of the food. a good grill not only enriches the experience of cooking but also gives satisfaction of cooking tasty food.

The grills of today do not emit poisonous and harmful gases making it a safe cooking. Certain things should always be taken into consideration while buying a gas grill. One should choose a gas grill, which is effective and does not create pollution while cooking. The gas grill as compared to charcoal is more efficient and according to the Environmental Protection agency, the gas grills emit 105 times less carbon monoxide than the usual charcoal. Most of the gas grills available today are well equipped with the on/off switches to heat up and cool down faster. This feature is absent in the conventional method of burning charcoal.

Many gas grill owners have found out the difference in the flavor of food prepared in the gas grill and the one prepared through the conventional method of burning charcoal. The distinct flavor of barbecued food, which comes when the meat juices drop down the hot surface and then turn into vapors and gets back into the food, comes when the charcoal is used. But the food prepared in the gas grill does not give such kind of peculiar smell. Thus the gas grill is convenient to use, safe to operate, fast to cook and environmental friendly.

The gas grills are manufactured with different sizes and various functionalities to suit various applications. The gas grill range from the commercial gas grills meant for restaurant use and a mid sized gas grills best for those who want to enjoy grilling in the backyard. The price of the gas grill depends upon the features provided. If you want to go for the one go through all the options available and then make a choice

As the light Spring months descend upon us and the grills start coming out in earnest to nearly every backyard and deck, the age old question resurfaces of which is better: gas grills or charcoal grills, and why? What it really comes down to is a few key characteristics that each offers the consumer. What your individual priorities are such as cost, taste, energy consumption, etc in a grill determines which type of grill would be best suited to you. In this article, we’ll discuss some of the most important aspects of gas and charcoal grills below to help you find your way to the right type of grill.

Convenience

Many people opt for a grill depending on the convenience attached to it. Is it easy to turn on? Does it take awhile to cook? In terms of how convenient it is to cook, gas grills win out. With the gas grill, you turn on the gas knobs, push the igniter button, and presto: the cooking can begin within about ten minutes. With a charcoal grill; however, though it is fairly simple to light the charcoal briquettes, it does take on average about 30 minutes to get to a medium grilling heat. So, depending on your lifestyle and how often you use your grill, you may have the time or may not.

Maintenance

Maintaining your grill, as is the necessary of all your worldly possessions, is also a factor to consider, when deciding upon a gas or charcoal grill. Hands down, the gas grill is easier to clean up..Many people just let the previous meats, veggies, fish burn off before grilling again, and perform once in awhile washing. With charcoal grills, however, the mess is more pronounced, and typically requires cleaning maintenance much more often than a gas grill.

Taste

Now when it comes to taste, this is where the playing field levels a bit; as many people report that fish, steaks, burgers, and everything else they choose to grill taste much more smoky and flavorful on a charcoal grill as opposed to the gas grill. This would make sense as your food is burning directly above the charcoal briquettes, and therefore take on the rich smoky flavor of the bricks; whereas gas flame doesn’t offer any smoky char-taste unless you cook your food longer.

Fuel Economy

When it comes to the fuel economy of your grill, it’s also important to recognize the varying convenience of the fuel/grill choice. The gas grill operates on a propane gas tank that-depending on the frequency of your use-can last a whole summer without needing to be replaced with another. Charcoal briquettes, on the other hand, take no time at all to use; so you must be prepared to make frequent store visits for bags of charcoal, if you are an avid griller. In the course of a summer, a gas grill propane tank will last you longer in relative comparison to the trips you would have to make to replace your charcoal briquettes; making the charcoal fuel economy more expensive.

Price

When it comes to barbeque grills and pricing, the range is pretty wide. Typically, gas grills range from $150 to upwards of $1000. Charcoal grills, on the other hand, range from $50 to $450. So, again it comes down to how much you want to spend, and what conveniences-if any-you require in a grill.

So you’ve just moved into your new Chicago condo and have a great patio, balcony or terrace just waiting to be used. As long as your building permits it, the summer tradition of barbecuing may be high on your list of things to do this summer. A lot of Chicago real estate, including some of the lofts listed here http://www.bestchicagocondos.com/lofts/index.html already have rooftop building space designated for grilling. Other units may have gas hook-ups already in place and waiting for you to install a gas grill. But some traditionalists and hard core barbeque fans will say that charcoal is the way to go.

With that in mind, along with the fact that many may be on a budget, shopping for a good and reasonably priced charcoal grill is a priority. You could easily spend a couple of hundred for a gourmet grill, but as long as the basic structural details are met and the materials used aren’t cheap, you can save your money for some great cuts of meat instead. For less than $100 you can buy a charcoal grill that you can use for more than one season on your condo balcony or back patio, provided to take care of it and don’t leave it uncovered in the weather.

There are a few basic styles of charcoal grill. Kettle grills are probably the most common and they actually do resemble a large kettle. Round in shape with normally three or four legs, they are the great for grilling almost any typical meal. The four legged ones often have wheels on two of the legs so that you can easily roll them to another spot. They also often have a small fold down wooden side rack that is handy for sitting plates of food or utensils.

There are also variations on the kettle grill often called portable grills. This style is smaller in size with a more round, flat shape, shorter legs and often no closeable lid or top. They are great for a quick burger or hot dog and are usually very inexpensive, although sometimes don’t last as long structurally.

There are rectangular shaped charcoal grills that look a lot like typical gas grills. These grills are often made from heavier metals, sometimes cast iron, and have more grilling surface and greater control over cooking temperature, etc.

With those basic styles in mind, here are a few specific charcoal grill examples with the average price that they are selling for in 2008.

The Weber One Touch Silver kettle grill is a really nice grill for both beginning grill chefs and experienced BBQ masters. The actually grill measures 22.5 inches and will hold about six steaks, a dozen hamburgers or two dozen hot dogs. As with all good kettle grills, the rounded shape reflects heat back inward fairly evenly for great cooking. This grill is made from steel and is porcelain covered to prevent rust and paint peeling. It has three legs with wheels, aluminum vents and ash tray plus nylon handles. The ashes sift into a tray that is easily pulled out and emptied. Prices on this grill run from about $65 to $100.

Another great Webber grill is the Go Anywhere Charcoal Grill. This smaller charcoal grill is constructed from steel and coated with porcelain and has three nylon handles. The grate is made from heavy duty plated steel and the legs pivot and lock to make carrying easy. You can fit a lot of food on the 160 square inches of grilling surface. The Go Anywhere is priced at about $45.

The Old Smokey Barbeque Grill comes in three sizes, but all are made with the same high standards. These grills have shorter legs so you can sit and grill if you get tired of standing and is deeper so that the charcoal fire isn’t as close to the meat. This allows meat to cook through without burning on the outside. The body of the Smokey grill is made from aluminized steel to help prevent rust.

The Small Smokey is great for someone to take on trips or for someone who is only grilling for two or three people. It is very inexpensive at about $35.

The Classic Smokey is a good size for cooking for four to six people. It measures about 27 inches tall with an 18 inch diameter. The Classic runs about $47 to $50.

And for a big appetite or crowd on your patio, the Jumbo Old Smokey can handle it. The Jumbo will cost you around $70.

There are dozens of other brands and models of charcoal grills, but these examples should give you an idea of what you need to get started on your grilling adventure. So slide open those balcony doors, step out onto the patio or porch and get all fired up.

Summertime is rapidly approaching. This means it is time to begin preparing meals without heating the house whenever possible. If you haven’t considered the value of cooking on the grill in the past, perhaps now is a great time to adjust your way of thinking.

Cooking on the grill is a great way to keep the heat of cooking outside your home as well as to bring the family together for the entire cooking process. Moms read: this is a great way to get dad to help out with meal preparation. While this is said somewhat in jest, there is some truth to the fact that men are much more inclined to slave away over a hot grill than a hot stove. More importantly, most of the mess of cooking on the grill remains outside your kitchen. I don’t know about you, but that is a huge bonus for me, when it comes to cooking.

Cooking on the grill is also a great way to get the kids involved in the meal preparation and clean up process. We like to use disposable plates when grill cooking and keep the dining <I>al fresco</I>. If you are hoping for instant family unity over the picnic table you might want to think again but there isn’t anything quite like it when it comes to not worrying about spills or dropped food as you can rest fairly certain that the animals will take care of anything that gets left behind.

Even small children can help when cooking on the grill by bringing utensils to the grill, holding plates, and ‘setting’ the picnic table for your dining experience. If you intend to do a good deal of cooking on the grill you may want to invest in some portable and ‘kid friendly’ containers for things such as condiments, napkins, plastic ware, and tablecloth holders. Be sure to find containers that can handle a decent gust of wind without flying off too. These may be a little heavier for your little ones to hold but they won’t be nearly as difficult to chase when blowing across the lawn.

Cooking on the grill is a great way to enjoy nature after a long day of work. Be careful that you do not reserve this as a weekend event as you will find you miss out on some of the relaxing qualities it can bring to your midweek slump. One thing that can definitely be said about grill cooking is that the selections are almost as limitless as they are when cooking on the stove. You must use your imagination for maximum effect though very few meats and vegetables are truly off limits when it comes to cooking on the grill.

In addition to cooking meats on the grill, it is important to keep in mind that you can also cook all kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables on the grill as well. You should also keep in mind the awesome side dishes that go great with grilled foods such as baked beans, potato salad, and nice cool deserts and pies.

Cooking on the grill is a great way to bring family and friends together. The next time you plan to have a get together why not make it a night of cooking on the grill? You can have the best of all worlds with no muss, no fuss clean up and great food with good friends. Cooking on the grill is certainly a great way to get the neighbors out and about. There’s nothing on earth that can quite compare to the aroma of meat, fruit, and vegetables grilling over hot charcoal. If you don’t remember and your mouth isn’t watering just reading about, it’s been far too long since your last barbecue experience.

The most important thing to remember about cooking on the grill is that it should be an experience rather than a chore. Most of us truly enjoy the thought of having a good dinner under the sun or stars (whichever applies in your case). If you haven’t tried this in a while, it’s time to dust off the grill and refresh your memory and your taste buds.

Billet grills are only underrated for those whom are unfamiliar with their car’s exterior, and just care about getting from “A” to “B.” For the less-satisfied drivers out there though, billet grills are an invaluable aftermarket addition that cannot be ignored. And it doesn’t take much to realize why.

1) Aesthetics- As with many automotive upgrades, most likely you are going to go after image-conscious choices. Billet grills are often the very first option applied by restyling pros and hobbyists alike. The reason? Pretty simple. The front-end of your ride is what makes its presence known before anything else. When you see a vehicle approaching, what is the first thing that you notice? Even when your ride is parked by the curb, a glistening, triumphant billet grill has a tendency to make a lasting impression.

2) Status- When you purchased your vehicle, you automatically bought in to a certain segment. That essentially means your model will always be compared with others in its “class.” Billet grilles have a unique ability to transcend any category. If you want to add a luxurious edge to your exterior that separates your ride from the rest of the clones on the road, a roving billet grill secured to the front will help you make that statement with sportiness, elegance, and conviction. The right billet grille provides versatility, and allows you to stand apart.

3) Protection- It’s not all about looks. Aftermarket billet grilles provide a step-up in protection for most models. OEM grills are not normally put in place to stave off the elements that different geographical locations are famous for. Some climates leave your car or truck more vulnerable than others – we all know that. Chances are, your original grill is either shoddy aluminum or medium-quality plastic. They were put there to deflect giant rocks and debris from getting into the inner workings. Some drivers need a little extra. And that “little extra” is most likely found somewhere other than their OEM standardized piece in the front. Truck grills rise in importance almost daily because of this very fact.

All Vehicles = All Styles

Unlike some other aftermarket goodies, billet grills are available for just about every model out there, regardless it it’s a car, truck, or SUV. And that is an important thing to take note of, because frequently, many upgrades are offered to cars, but maybe not trucks, and vice/versa. Whatever model you drive, it is a safe bet there is a grille out there for it. The smart money even says that you have options in more than just a few styles. After all, billet grilles don’t come in just one design that everyone must sign off on. There is a whole galaxy of choices that can skyrocket your car’s exterior dimensions.

Mesh grills are another type of grill that can deliver a stunning reminder of just where you stand. Mesh grills display a prominent meshed design, often featuring stainless steel woven in this fashion. The holes in a mesh grill primarily appear much smaller, showcasing a whole other take on aftermarket elegance. Once polished and fixed to the front, a mesh grill demonstrates a stark contrast in luxurious bravado that the original factory grill just cannot compete with. It is because of this reason why along with billet grills, mesh grills are a highly-sought after objective for even the most novice of custom-hungry drivers.

Materials

Chrome-coated or chrome-plated stainless steel grilles are certainly considered to be of the highest order that most drivers want. Many of the top-tier brands such as Asanti®, E&G Classics®, and T-Rex Billet Grilles® utilize stainless steel as the material of choice. ABS plastic is also frequently employed as well, and can also come slathered in chrome. Virtually every type from truck grills on down the line come complete in any grade or finish.

Installation

Installation for a new billet grill is not the daunting task that you might have preconceived notions about. First and foremost, many times they come as overlays, which fasten right over your original grill. In the event that your new grille is a direct replacement, at the most you may need to do some very light drilling and screwing. While I personally believe anyone can do this, if you were to feel a tad uneasy about it, you can always shoot for professional installation or call on some help from a more mechanically-inclined friend. But definitely do not let what might appear as an involved installation stop you from going after the grille that you feel is right for you!

Billet grills really help you make the most out of your exterior. While there are several mind-blowing modifications you can make, a billet grille is perhaps the most consistently classy choice for the majority of drivers who crave an injection of custom style. They are such a solid investment simply because it is just so hard to go wrong! Of course, you do want to look around a bit, see what is out there, and discover your own perception of automotive fashion-sense. As soon as you have that pegged it’s off to the races! Before long, you will hopefully have the gimmering and luxuriously crafted billet grill that delivers on all of your automotive dreams!
